When we come into an awareness of our inner truth, it can often feel like deep excitement, love expansion, a fully body yes, openness, warmth, lightness, or feeling energized.

Yet, when we think about taking conscious action to embody our inner truth, it can feel daunting, frightening, scary, overwhelming, anxiety-inducing, and even nerve-wracking. This can be confusing, especially at the beginning, but it is a normal part of the process. It is common to experience resistance or unconscious traumas as we take a step toward embodying our true vibration. Our arising fears may cause us to abandon the initial inner truth awareness, because embodying it is too uncomfortable. So let’s walk through it step by step:

First, focus on what your inner truth awareness is without worrying about action for now. This will help you gain a purer awareness of what your inner truth is before the fear of embodiment or conscious action arises.

Whenever it feels right, close your eyes and take a few breaths. Move from your head to your heart, and breathe into your heart space. Let go of your thoughts as best you can and keep returning to the awareness of your heart space. When you are ready, ask yourself the question, “How does it feel for me when I am in alignment with my inner truth?” Spend some time here and notice how your body feels. Notice what sensations arise. Notice where they are in your body, notice your mood, your excitement; notice everything. You can even remember something that was super-aligned for you recently, and notice how remembering that feeling feels.

Second, focus on what it feels like to be out of alignment with your inner truth. This will help you to gain greater clarity and insight into what’s non-resonant for you.

Ask yourself the question, “How does it feel to be out of alignment with my inner truth?” Notice your body, the sensations, and your overall awareness. Perhaps even remember a recent time when you felt at odds with your inner truth, and notice how that feels.

You should now have more of an idea of what alignment vs. misalignment with your inner feels like, specifically for you. Each person is unique. Continue this practice of noticing when you feel in alignment vs. when you are not throughout the day. Notice the subtleties that arise. Become familiar with recognizing your inner truth. The more you practice, the clearer it becomes. The clearer your awareness of your inner truth is, the easier it becomes to take conscious action to embody it Ready to go deeper?
