Have you ever noticed that just having the idea of living your dream life doesn’t make it happen on its own?

Taking conscious action is a pathway to embodying your inner truth in everyday life. It doesn’t always feel like rainbows and unicorns, it can sometimes be scary. Your best ideas or inspirations often coincide with taking conscious action to bring them to fruition. And often, fear of taking action prevents you from doing so. This fear may not dissipate until you actually take steps towards embodiment.

We know, we’ve been there.

Here are some examples:

  • Asking someone out on a date

  • Going to a job interview for your dream job

  • Having a healthy boundary

  • Having a difficult but needed conversation

  • Making a big life decision

  • Ending a relationship

  • Moving location

  • Going back to studying

  • Starting your own business

  • Taking time off and following your dreams

There are infinite ways for you to embody your inner truth and create the life that you prefer. That is for you to discover. But if you are waiting for fear to completely disappear before you take conscious action towards it, you might be waiting a while. The good news is though, you can work with the fear that arises, to learn from it, transform it, and feel supported in taking aligned, conscious action with your own inner truth.

Conscious Action Practice: Take a few deep breaths in your heart space, let go of your mind, and tune into your inner truth. Start to imagine taking conscious action towards the embodiment of it. Notice what feelings arise. If worry, fear, or other constrictive feelings arise, do the following:

  • Ask yourself, “What is there for me to learn from these feelings?”

  • Ask yourself, “How can I transform this fear into aligned action?”

  • Surrender the fear (or other constrictive feelings) to your higher self, your infinite self/God/Oneness. Continue surrendering until you feel a shift.

When you are ready, return to the idea of embodying your inner truth and notice how your relationship to embodying it has transformed. Your dream life is made up of a vast number of small decisions, big steps, and trust in your own path. Use the clarity you’ve gained to take one step in the direction of embodying your inner truth today! Ready to go deeper?
